- What areas do you serve?
- Ravin Photography is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia and serves the entire Halifax Regional Municipality and the wider Maritimes, including the South Shore, Annapolis Valley, and Cape Breton. Travel beyond Halifax can be arranged.
- How much does a wedding photographer in Halifax cost?
- Wedding collections with Ravin Photography run from $1,500 for 6 hours of coverage up to $3,700 for 10 hours with a second photographer and a cinematic highlight film. Elopements start at $520 and engagement sessions at $275.
- When will we receive our photos?
- Delivery takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on the scope of the shoot, through a private online gallery you can download and share from. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.
- What deposit is required to book?
- A 30% non-refundable deposit holds your date, with the remaining balance due one week before your event. Bank transfers and credit cards are accepted.
- Do you offer any discounts?
- Yes. New clients receive 10% off their first booking. Military and first responders receive 10% off with valid ID, and there is a referral discount where you and the friend you refer each receive 10% off. Discounts cannot be combined with any other promotion.
- What happens if it rains?
- A backup location or a shift in timing is arranged so the day still works. Severe conditions may require a reschedule, always with as much notice as possible.
- Do you travel for destination weddings?
- Yes. Destination weddings and elopements are welcome anywhere in Canada and internationally, alongside travel throughout Nova Scotia and the Maritimes. Travel and accommodation are quoted transparently as part of the collection rather than hidden in the package price.
- How do we book?
- Reach out through the contact page or email ravinmphotography@gmail.com with your date and details. After a quick chat, a 30% deposit secures your date.
- Where do we view and download our photos?
- Every booking includes a private online gallery. You receive a personal link once your images are ready, and you can view, download and share the full set from there. Fine-art prints of Nova Scotia landscapes are ordered separately through the Art Gallery.
